Position Summary:
The Department of Medicine is looking for a Research Coordinator to join the Division of Hematology/Oncology. In this position the Research Coordinator will:
- Facilitate project investigating the social determinants of health (SDOH)—non-medical factors like socioeconomic position, education, local environment, and social context that influence health outcomes.
- Oversee daily operations, encompassing participant recruiting, data collecting, and engagement with diverse teams, including researchers, physicians, and community stakeholders.
- A fundamental aspect of their position encompasses outcome research, wherein they assist in the design and execution of methodologies to assess the efficacy of interventions or policies targeting SDOH, monitoring quantifiable health outcomes such as illness prevalence, healthcare accessibility, or enhancements in quality of life.
- The Clinical Research Assistant guarantees ethical adherence, upholds project schedules, and manages data pertaining to both SDOH variables and outcomes.
- They may also assist with data analysis, report writing, and disseminating findings to stakeholders to inform health equity strategies.
- This position requires exceptional organizational and communication abilities, expertise in outcome assessment, and a comprehensive understanding of SDOH frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science with previous experience in patient examination, coordination, and data analyses

Salary Range: $19,692.31
Additional Salary Information: The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
