2. Fully Funded PhD in Signal Recovery in Noisy Spatial Data
Summary of Funded PhD Program
The project “Signal Recovery in Noisy Spatial Data” is funded by the Academy of Finland and develops dimension reduction methods for noisy multivariate spatial data, especially in a blind source separation context. The successful candidate will work in Professor Klaus Nordhausen´s research group. The work of the doctoral researcher will focus on developing novel blind source separation estimators for multivariate spatial data under different signal and noisy configurations together with tools to estimate the signal dimension. Algorithms for the methods shall be derived and implemented and evaluated in case studies.
Application Deadline: 12.12.2024
