Summary of Funded PhD Program
1-2 fully-funded fixed-term Doctoral Researcher positions in Computational Microbiome research at the research teams of Professor Leo Lahti and Adj. Prof. Aki Havulinna, University of Turku, Finland. The positions are intended for full-time research towards PhD thesis. We work on a wide range of topics in computational microbiome research.
The project aims to advance scientific understanding on the function and interactions of the human microbiome based on large-scale population cohorts. Different project areas are available related to the development and application of computational methods for population cohort studies and multi-omic data integration (e.g. metagenomics, genomics, metabolomics).
