The Rockefeller Foundation–Acumen Food Systems Fellowship is a one-year, part-time leadership development program designed to cultivate a community of food systems builders committed to creating more equitable, nourishing, and regenerative food systems. Offered through Acumen Academy, the program introduces moral leadership concepts to a globally diverse cohort of approximately 20 individuals who are actively working to transform food systems.
Role Description:
Fellows engage in a blend of immersive seminars, workshops, and self-directed leadership experiments, both in-person and virtual, over the course of the fellowship year. The program aims to enhance fellows’ capacity to innovate and drive systemic change within food systems by practicing essential systems leadership skills.

What You’ll Need:

Minimum of five years of professional experience in food systems.

Current leadership role in an initiative or organization committed to food systems work.

Conversational proficiency in English.

Ability to commit to the fellowship’s time requirements while maintaining current employment.

Preferred or Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated commitment to creating equitable, nourishing, and regenerative food systems.

Experience in roles such as social entrepreneur, social intrapreneur, organizational builder, public sector leader, or bridge builder within the food systems space.
