Job Description
The Ignite Fellowship is a paid, part-time tutoring program created by Teach For America (TFA) to provide high-impact academic support to students in under-resourced communities. The fellowship is ideal for undergraduate students and aspiring educators who want to make a meaningful difference while gaining hands-on teaching experience. Ignite Fellows serve as virtual tutors, offering personalized instruction in reading or math to help students build confidence and achieve academic success.
Role Description:
Ignite Fellows work in small groups (1:1 or 1:2) with students for several hours a week during the academic semester. Tutoring sessions focus on relationship-building, trust, and tailored instruction. Fellows also receive coaching, professional development, and support from experienced educators.

What You’ll Need:

Current undergraduate student (full-time or part-time)

Availability to tutor 3–5 hours/week for the duration of the fellowship (typically 10–12 weeks)

Preferred or Required Qualifications:
