One full-time postdoctoral position at the interface of decision analytic modeling, pharmacoepidemiology and clinical hematology-oncology within the Section of Medical Oncology and Hematology, Department of Internal Medicine, at the Yale University School of Medicine and Yale Cancer Center (Goshua Lab; www.goshualab.com).
Position details:
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to:
(1) design, analyze and publish first author original science at the intersection of health decision science, pharmacoepidemiology, and clinical oncology and hematology,
(2) mentor talented trainees (students, residents, and clinical fellows), both at Yale and within our collaborative research hub,
(3) contribute to grant proposals, and
(4) collaborate on ongoing multi-institutional projects through an established, Yale-led multi-institutional collaborative research hub.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications (#1-4):
1. PhD or MD-PhD, with at least one published first-author manuscript in pharmacoepidemiology and/or health decision science in a peer-reviewed journal.
2. Strong background in epidemiological and statistical methods, including coursework and/or research experience in evidence synthesis.
3. Programming experience using large datasets (e.g., R, Python).
4. Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work productive both independently and within collaborative teams, and prior experience with writing grants.
Ideal qualifications (#5):
5. Experience with using Cosmos and MarketScan
Salary will be based on the Yale postdoctoral research salary scale. The position is for one year with possible renewal at the second year depending on performance. Anticipated start date is flexible (~spring/summer 2025).
