Job Description: A highly selective fellowship for a cohort of outstanding graduate students across disciplines. Olin-Chancellor’s Fellows are chosen for excellence and commitment to diversity (especially in gender and race) and receive extensive professional development and mentorship.
Role Description: Fellows are enrolled full-time in any WashU graduate program and join the Olin cohort. They participate in leadership development, special programming, and serve as ambassadors of excellence during their studies.
Application Cycle: Annual (each incoming graduate class).
What You’ll Need: Nomination by department/faculty. Must be a newly admitted or enrolled graduate student (often Ph.D. level), with exceptional credentials. Citizenship is not specified, so likely open to all.
Preferred or Required Qualifications: Distinguished academic record, leadership experience, and a record of commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Emphasis is on bringing diverse perspectives and promoting social impact.
Students must have received an undergraduate degree from a U.S. institution. A U.S. institution is one whose accrediting agency is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
