Job Description
The Vital Voices Global Fellowship (VVGF) 2025 is a fully funded, 10-month leadership program designed to empower women leaders from around the world. The fellowship focuses on two main pillars:

VV Venture (Social Entrepreneurship): For women leading for-profit, purpose-driven businesses that address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

VV Engage (Public Leadership): For women in public leadership roles, including elected or appointed officials, political activists, community leaders, and media professionals engaged in policy-related work.
The program aims to enhance participants’ leadership skills, foster collaboration across sectors, and amplify their impact on critical global challenges.
Role Description:
Fellows will participate in a combination of virtual trainings and an in-person convening. The program includes:

Leadership development through the Vital Voices Leadership Journey.

Pillar-specific skill-building sessions tailored to social entrepreneurs or public leaders.

Opportunities for cross-sector collaboration with a global network of changemakers.

Access to the Vital Voices Community Hub for mentorship and peer learning.Â

A certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the program.

Location: Virtual sessions and an in-person convening in the third quarter of 2025 (location to be confirmed)

What You’ll Need:

Identify as a woman.
-
Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Proficiency in English.

Demonstrated commitment to advancing the SDGs through leadership, entrepreneurship, or public service.

Willingness to fully participate in the fellowship and engage with diverse women leaders across sectors.

Preferred or Required Qualifications:

For VV Venture (Social Entrepreneurship):
-
Hold a key decision-making role in a legally registered, for-profit, purpose-driven business that advances the SDGs.
-
Business must have a minimum annual revenue of $100,000 USD, at least three full-time paid employees, and a minimum of two years in operation.

Exhibit clear business growth and impact potential.

Commitment to leading the business with no plans for a near-term exit.

For VV Engage (Public Leadership):

Be an elected or appointed official, political party leader, political activist, community leader, media professional covering politics or gender issues, or civil society leader running a policy-focused nonprofit.

Demonstrate commitment to transparency, good governance, and advancing equity in governance.
