Are you passionate about scientific research and eager to contribute to our teams studies? Join our Department of Psychology as a Research Technician! In this role, you’ll oversee daily lab activities, provide training and support for research assistants, and manage and maintain essential materials. You’ll collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator to schedule activities, develop study materials, and prepare data for analysis. Opportunities to Contribute

  • Manage and mentor a team of research assistants, ensuring smooth and efficient lab operations.
  • Develop study materials that drive our research forward.
  • Take charge of managing and maintaining essential lab resources to support our studies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator on scheduling activities and preparing data for analysis.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Two years of relevant experience

A well-qualified candidate will also possess

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
  • Experience working in a research lab environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to positively and professionally interact with others.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs.
  • Ability to orally comprehend and express information and use inductive and deductive reasoning.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Special Note: This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract. Therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance.
