Job Description

What we want

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Aide to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and managing software code, analyzing data using Stata and Excel, and collecting and summarizing literature for presentation to the supervisor. Additionally, the Program Aide will organize plans for the revision and resubmission of journal submissions, ensuring timely and accurate processing upon their return with decisions. This role involves performing literature reviews, conducting data analyses, writing papers, and formatting articles for journal submission.

What you need to know

Salary: $15/hr.

Note About Position: This position is a temporary position for 4.5 months, working an estimated 20 hours per week

Grant Funded: This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract – therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • PhD candidate or PhD in economics
  • 5 years of Stata experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Stata, methods

Responsibilities

Research Duties:

  • Clean and manage software code
  • Analyze data using Stata and Excel
  • Collect and summarize literature to present to supervisor
  • Organize plans for revision and (re) submission of journal submissions, upon their return to supervisor with decisions
