POSITION SPECIFICS

The laboratory of Elizabeth McGraw at Penn State is recruiting a highly-motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to work on the interactions between Wolbachia, arboviruses, and mosquitoes. Candidates with skills in molecular biology, virology, and or vector biology will be considered. Candidates who enjoy teamwork, leadership, and collaborative science in a diverse campus community are desirable.

Education and Experience:

The position requires a Ph.D. in Biology, Ecology, Evolution, Entomology, Virology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Competence with statistical software and data management are necessary. Excellent communication skills, including writing, are required, as is a strong publication record. Salary and benefits package is competitive.
