Job Description
The Cisco Youth Leadership Award, presented by Cisco in partnership with Global Citizen, honors a young changemaker aged 18–30 who is using technology, innovation, and leadership to address global challenges and make a meaningful impact. This prestigious annual award recognizes youth-led solutions that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in areas such as poverty eradication, access to education, health, and environmental sustainability.
Role Description:
The award is given to an individual who has founded or leads a mission-driven organization. The recipient is selected based on measurable impact, a strong personal narrative, and the potential for scale. Along with the award, the recipient becomes a part of the Global Citizen and Cisco leadership network, gaining visibility, mentorship, and new platforms to expand their work globally.

What You’ll Need:

Be aged 18–30 at the time of application

Be the founder or co-founder of a registered social impact organization

Demonstrate a track record of impact in line with at least one SDG

Use of technology or digital tools as a significant component of the solution

Willingness to share your story on public platforms and collaborate with Global Citizen and Cisco
Preferred or Required Qualifications:

Strong leadership and communication skills

Evidence of innovation in tackling community or global issues

Demonstrated potential for the solution to scale or expand to other regions
