The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an Administrative Coordinator II for the Office of Alumni & Donor Relations to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and support donor-related activities for our development officers, while also contributing to the efforts of the Office of Alumni and Donor Relations. As the first line of communication for the college, you will project a professional image with a customer-service, donor-centric mindset. Opportunities to Contribute
- Plans, coordinates, and executes day-to-day operations related to the college’s relationship with the Texas A&M Foundation, including gift agreement processing and distribution.
- Monitors and stays up to date with the foundation’s fundraising software and operational policies and procedures.
- Makes recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives.
- Provides administrative support to the chief development officer, assistant dean, and alumni and donor relations.
- Prepares and reviews donor biographies for the dean.
- Assists development officers with proposal preparation and tracking.
- Serves as liaison to the foundation and represents the college at meetings, including for the Office of Alumni and Donor Relations (ADR) to the dean’s office.
- Provides event support for ADR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of experience in office administration.
A well-qualified candidate will also possess
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain professional working relationships
Salary Rate: $45,000 per year
Schedule: This position requires evening and weekend hours as needed
